Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Manager for Ports & Marine Terminals to lead port infrastructure projects in the San Pedro Basin. The role focuses on client development, technical leadership, and delivery of projects with a strong emphasis on relationship management and team mentoring.

The successful candidate will oversee financial and schedule performance, coordinate with subconsultants and internal disciplines, and mentor junior staff as part of Stantec’s growth in the region and country.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in planning, environmental science, or engineering.
• Ten years of relevant port planning/engineering experience.
• Preferred PE registration in CA/WA/AK/HI or ability to earn within 6 months.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain TWIC card.

Responsibilities

• Secure new clients and develop proposals with marketing.
• Develop positive relations with existing and prospective clients.
• Coordinate and develop proposal graphics illustrating technical scope.
• Create proposal documentation including project scope, budgets, and design approach.
• Oversee and manage multiple projects as PM/Technical Lead or Task Manager.
• Serve as the project’s point of contact with clients and agencies to determine requirements.
