Job summary

Stantec in Seattle is seeking a Project Manager for Ports & Marine Terminals with at least ten years of engineering design experience to lead the pursuit and delivery of port infrastructure projects in the region. You will work closely with clients, agencies, and internal disciplines to shape technical approaches and drive successful project outcomes.

This leadership role requires coordinating schedule and budget performance, mentoring junior staff, and delivering design plans and specifications

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years’ relevant experience in port planning/engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in planning, environmental science, or engineering.
• Preferred PE license in CA, WA, AK, HI, or ability to earn within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead project meetings with clients and stakeholders to define scope and outcomes.
• Oversee schedule and budget performance across multiple projects.
• Coordinate proposal graphics illustrating technical scope and design approach.
• Mentor junior staff and guide career development within the team.
• Review design work and provide guidance on marine structures and port facilities.
• Manage QA/QC reviews and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
