Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Ports & Marine Structures to grow our team in the US South, including the San Diego area. You will lead design and delivery of complex marine and port projects, guiding teams of planners, engineers, and technologists across multiple engagements.

You will develop proposals, manage scopes and budgets, coordinate with clients and consultants, and drive on-time project delivery with high quality engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineering license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 15+ years of progressive ports & marine civil/structural engineering and project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of structural design codes, standards, and port/marine guidelines.
• Experience leading teams through all project phases and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead marine structures and other port-related projects of varying complexity.
• Develop proposals for port development projects and oversee project teams.
• Create work plans, budgets, schedules, and oversee design through documents and drawings.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external consultants; primary contact for owner/client.
• Oversee project specifications, construction documents, and constructability reviews.
• Manage client engagement, value analysis, and cost estimating; ensure on-time delivery.
