Job summary

Moss is seeking a Senior Project Manager, PMO, to lead high‑visibility initiatives within the Moss Energy Division. This on‑site role at the Fort Lauderdale, FL office reports to the Senior Manager, PMO and requires coordinating with executives, staff, and external stakeholders.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree, 7+ years in PM in a large IT environment, PMP certification, and experience with Waterfall/Hybrid/Agile methods and tools like Procore or ERP systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
  • 7+ years of project management experience in a large/complex IT environment is required.
  • Experience with Waterfall/Hybrid/Agile methodologies is required.
  • Active PMP certification is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Knowledge or experience with Oracle Fusion, SAP, Workday, Procore, ERP systems, or Clarity PPM is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains project plans (schedule, resources, RAID log, budget) using the SPMO framework.
  • Employ Waterfall/Hybrid/Agile methodologies to balance structure and flexibility.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and align with goals.
  • Provide regular updates to Senior/Executive Leadership and manage expectations.
  • Maintain up-to-date project documentation and change requests.
  • Conduct project evaluations to capture lessons learned.
  • Lead projects with clear communication and facilitation.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Guide, direct, and support the project team members.
  • Allocate resources, track progress, and adjust schedules as needed.

POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT

Moss's Senior Project Manager, PMO , will lead and direct high‑visibility mission‑critical and business optimization initiatives that support the Moss Energy Division. This role reports to the Senior Manager, PMO, and will work in a matrixed environment, interacting regularly with executive leadership, divisional staff, and external stakeholders and vendors.

This position is based on‑site at our Fort Lauderdale, FL office.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintains project plans (schedule, resources, RAID log, budget), utilizing Moss' SPMO framework to achieve optimal results from each project.
  • Utilize Waterfall/Hybrid/ Agile project methodologies to balance structure and flexibility.
  • Able to collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Able to provide regular project updates to Senior and Executive Leadership, address concerns, and manage expectations to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, change requests, and any other relevant project records.
  • Conduct project evaluations to assess the achievement of project goals, identify lessons learned, and gather feedback from stakeholders.
  • Leads projects through excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Provide guidance, direction, and support to the project team members.
  • Ability to allocate resources effectively, track progress, and adjust schedules as necessary.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Well‑organized, detail‑oriented, professional demeanor.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or a related field is required.
  • 7+ years of project management and process improvement experience in a large/complex information technology environment is required.
  • Experience with Waterfall/Hybrid/Agile project methodologies is required.
  • An active PMP certification is required.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Knowledge or experience implementing Oracle Fusion, SAP, Workday, Procore, ERP systems, or Clarity PPM is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet critical deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be honest, trustworthy, accountable, and possess the ability to work in a high‑volume, heavy deadline‑driven environment.
  • Strong influencing, coordination, problem‑solving, documentation, and data entry skills.
