Job summary

Moss & Associates LLC is seeking a Senior Project Manager, PMO, to lead high-visibility initiatives within the Moss Energy Division. You will work with executive leadership, divisional staff, and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of mission-critical projects from Fort Lauderdale, FL.

The role requires a PMP and 7+ years in project management within a large IT environment, with experience in Waterfall/Hybrid/Agile methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of project management and process improvement experience in a large/complex IT environment.
  • Experience with Waterfall/Hybrid/Agile methodologies.
  • Active PMP certification is required.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge or experience implementing Oracle Fusion, SAP, Workday, Procore, ERP systems, or Clarity PPM is preferred.

  • Maintains project plans (schedule, resources, RAID log, budget) using the SPMO framework.
  • Utilize Waterfall/Hybrid/Agile methodologies to balance structure and flexibility.

  • Maintain up-to-date project documentation and change requests.

Position Scope and Organizational Impact

Moss’s Senior Project Manager, PMO, will lead and direct high-visibility mission-critical and business optimization initiatives that support the Moss Energy Division. This role reports to the Senior Manager, PMO, and will work in a matrixed environment, interacting regularly with executive leadership, divisional staff, and external stakeholders and vendors. This position is based on-site at our Fort Lauderdale, FL office.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintains project plans (schedule, resources, RAID log, budget), utilizing Moss' SPMO framework to achieve optimal results from each project.
  • Utilize Waterfall/Hybrid/ Agile project methodologies to balance structure and flexibility.
  • Able to collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Able to provide regular project updates to Senior and Executive Leadership, address concerns, and manage expectations to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, change requests, and any other relevant project records.
  • Conduct project evaluations to assess the achievement of project goals, identify lessons learned, and gather feedback from stakeholders.
  • Leads projects through excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Provide guidance, direction, and support to the project team members.
  • Ability to allocate resources effectively, track progress, and adjust schedules as necessary.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, professional demeanor.
Education and Work Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, or a related field is required.
  • 7+ years of project management and process improvement experience in a large/complex information technology environment is required.
  • Experience with Waterfall/Hybrid/Agile project methodologies is required.
  • An active PMP certification is required.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite is required.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet critical deadlines.
