Job summary

Moss is seeking a Senior Project Manager, PMO, to lead high-visibility, mission-critical initiatives within the Moss Energy Division. This on-site role based in Fort Lauderdale, FL will direct cross‑functional teams and interact with executive leadership and external stakeholders to deliver business optimization projects.

You will manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and risks, while ensuring rigorous governance, documentation, and timely updates to leadership across the matrix organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management and process improvement experience in a large/complex information technology environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, or a related field.
• Active PMP certification is required.
• Experience with Waterfall/Hybrid/Agile project methodologies is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project plans (schedule, resources, RAID log, budget) utilizing Moss' SPMO framework to achieve optimal results from each project.
• Utilize Waterfall/Hybrid/ Agile project methodologies to balance structure and flexibility.
• Able to collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Able to provide regular project updates to Senior and Executive Leadership, address concerns, and manage expectations to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, change requests, and any other relevant project records.
• Conduct project evaluations to assess the achievement of project goals, identify lessons learned, and gather feedback from stakeholders.
• Leads projects through excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Ability to identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
• Provide guidance, direction, and support to the project team members.
• Ability to allocate resources effectively, track progress, and adjust schedules as necessary.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
