Job summary

Edgewater Technical Associates seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead the engineering, design, and construction of a new fuel fabrication facility. You will oversee the full lifecycle from planning through turnover, coordinating engineering, procurement, and construction with a strong focus on safety, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience managing complex engineering and construction projects.
• Experience leading major capital construction projects with budget, schedule, and scope responsibility.
• Experience overseeing both engineering/design and construction activities on large-scale industrial or regulated facilities.
• Strong EPC project delivery, construction management, procurement, controls, and contractor oversight.
• Knowledge of safety, QA, and regulatory requirements for nuclear or high-hazard facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the execution of a large-scale, new-build fuel fabrication facility.
• Manage all phases of the project lifecycle: engineering, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, turnover.
• Oversee multidisciplinary teams to meet project specs, regulatory requirements, and construction objectives.
• Direct construction execution, contractor oversight, field activities, and resource allocation.
• Develop and manage budgets, master schedules, milestones, and performance metrics.
• Oversee project controls: cost forecasting, schedule performance, risk management, change control, reporting.
• Manage EPC contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with NRC regulations; coordinate licensing, regulatory, and QA requirements.
• Identify and mitigate project risks; provide updates to leadership and clients.
