Job summary

Connexion Systems & Engineering is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex cross-functional programs focused on Mechanical design and New Product Introduction (NPI). You will manage projects from concept through launch, partnering with Engineering, Product Management, Operations, Sales, Service, and Supply Chain to bring new products to market.

This onsite role in Marlborough, MA requires 10–20% travel, a Monday–Friday schedule, and a proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field.
10+ years of project management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
PMP certification preferred; experience with large budgets and NPI programs.

Responsibilities

Lead full project lifecycle from initiation through completion, managing scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and deliverables.
Lead end-to-end NPI process for machines, automation, accessories, and product options.
Partner with Engineering and cross-functional teams through design reviews, prototype builds, pilot installations, launch readiness, documentation, training, pricing, and service preparation.
Develop project charters, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and status reports.
Lead cross-functional teams, drive accountability, resolve issues, and elevate risks as needed.
Facilitate project meetings, executive reviews, and key decision-making sessions.
Maintain standardized NPI processes, stage gates, and project documentation.
Track project performance and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Promote PMO standards, methodologies, and best practices.
Support portfolio reviews, project audits, lessons learned, and mentoring of other project managers.
