Job summary

the company, headquartered in Boston, MA, seeks a Senior Technical Program Manager (NPI) to lead manufacturing development and launch execution for new hardware programs. This role owns the NPI workstream from concept through production ramp, collaborating with Engineering, Operations, and manufacturing partners to ensure build and factory readiness, issue resolution, and high-quality program delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related field.
5+ years of experience in technical program management, manufacturing development, hardware engineering, or related field.
Experience owning a complete hardware product development cycle from prototype through mass production launch (EVT/DVT/PVT to ramp).
Proven ability to lead manufacturing programs with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Experience with overseas manufacturing partners, especially in Asia, in consumer electronics or high-volume hardware.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end manufacturing program execution from development through mass production launch.
Lead manufacturing readiness across EVT, DVT, PVT, pre-production, and ramp.
Develop and maintain integrated program plans, build schedules, risk trackers, and validation milestones.
Drive manufacturing process development, documentation, and validation with cross-functional teams.
Coordinate build planning, factory readiness, equipment deployment, and exit criteria for each build phase.
Drive ramp readiness including yield, throughput, capacity, staffing, and handoffs.
Establish and drive NPI operating cadence with reviews and leadership updates.
Identify risks early and drive cross-functional issue resolution with clear ownership and recovery plans.
Communicate program status, decisions, risks, and recovery plans to stakeholders.
Build relationships with contract manufacturers and suppliers for production readiness.
