Job summary

Rochester Electronics, LLC seeks a Senior Project Manager to oversee Newburyport, Massachusetts projects. You will lead cross-functional teams from feasibility through production release, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and Rochester Quality standards.

The role involves developing Project Plans, scheduling, budgeting, staffing, risk management, and ongoing status reporting to stakeholders. Strong communication and PM best practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Microelectronic, Computer, or other Engineering degree, or an equivalent foreign degree.
• 4 years of experience as technical project lead or technical program manager.
• Experience with or understanding of semiconductor industry.
• Effective planning and organization skills.
• Cross-functional team leadership skills.
• Demonstrable experience in Project Management best practices and systems.

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales, Supplier Development, Quoting, Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality to assess new product opportunities.
• Engage customers and stakeholders to determine clear scope for proposed projects and regulatory requirements.
• Create a Project Plan with schedule, budget, resources, risk, and other aspects.
• Determine staffing requirements and commitments for successful delivery.
• Manage projects to stay on scope, schedule, and budget; apply change controls as needed.
• Monitor project risk and implement mitigation plans.
• Track progress with metrics and report status to stakeholders.
• Coordinate day-to-day project activities, meetings, and communications across teams.
