Job summary

Austin Commercial is seeking a Project Manager II in North Texas to lead complex commercial construction projects. The role includes planning, scheduling, cost input with owners/architects, and coordinating bids with Estimating.

You will startup projects with the site team, ensure cost control, and manage subcontractor selection and payment processes while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• B.S. in construction management/science, engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training required (may obtain within first year).
• Proficient in project manager software.

Responsibilities

• Oversees a construction project by planning, scheduling and coordinating all phases of the project.
• Works with owners and architects during plan development and cost input; develops preliminary budgets.
• Coordinates with Estimating to solicit bids and prepare final cost estimates and proposals.
• Manages startup activities on the project with the superintendent for site logistics and access.
