Job summary

We Search People partners with a South Dallas general contractor to recruit a Project Manager with a strong background in multifamily and commercial construction. You will own projects from preconstruction through closeout, overseeing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships across North Texas.

This is a hands-on leadership role with growth opportunities in a fast-moving market. You will collaborate with owners, developers, and design teams to deliver quality projects on time

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within a General Contractor environment.
• Experience delivering ground-up multifamily and commercial construction projects.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and subcontractor management knowledge.
• Experience managing projects through full construction lifecycle.
• Proficient with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar CM software.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in the Dallas–Fort Worth construction market is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, and overall financial performance.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders.
• Work closely with Superintendents to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and project documentation.
• Maintain strong relationships with owners, developers, and project partners.
• Identify and resolve project risks, delays, and construction challenges.
