Job summary

Apex Multifamily in Austin, TX seeks a detail‑oriented Commercial and Multifamily Construction Project Manager to coordinate the full lifecycle from conception to completion. You will work with clients, architects, and engineers to deliver on time, within budget, and with high quality across multiple projects.

Responsibilities include defining scope and budget, planning with engineers, negotiating vendor contracts, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance throughout the build process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in project management and the construction industry.
• Excellent knowledge of construction materials, equipment, project management, and quality assurance processes.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and other industry tools.
• Professional Project Management (PMP) certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop project goals, scope, budget, and schedule.
• Oversee planning and implementation of construction projects with architects and engineers.
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors for profitable agreements.
• Supervise construction procedures to meet regulations and quality standards.
• Monitor progress and prepare detailed milestone reports.
• Manage budget, track costs, and adjust as needed to stay within financial plan.
• Ensure work is on schedule, on budget, and compliant with safety rules.
• Communicate progress and changes with clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct regular meetings and provide updates to the project team.
• Oversee project closeout and post-project evaluation.
