Job summary

STO Building Group Careers is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large, complex mission-critical construction projects in Dallas. The role involves guiding project teams, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring contract performance aligned with owner expectations.

The ideal candidate will have eight+ years of PM experience, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field.
• Minimum of eight years project management experience in Mission Critical construction projects.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliverables.
• Strong teamwork, delegation, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervises project teams and guides project management techniques, ensuring adherence to plans and company policies.
• Directly responsible for projected costs and profits for each assigned project.
• Assists in preparing estimates and participates in prime contract negotiations.
• Leads the project team in preparing the Project Management Plan (PMP) and manages subcontracts.
• Oversees procurement, scheduling, and project execution with the Project Superintendent; monitors safety, quality and schedule.
• Coordinates final close-out procedures, including as-built drawings, punch lists, occupancy permits, and warranty follow-ups.
