Job summary

NAVFAC Guam seeks a Senior Project Manager and technical advisor to lead project management for military construction. You will develop and implement regional policy on project management issues and facilitate information sharing within the Capital Improvements Business Line.

You will act as liaison between the project team and the Supported Commander, providing construction support and site visits to observe progress and resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Experience managing military construction projects and ensuring timely execution of development, design and construction.
• Ability to provide technical expertise across architectural and engineering activities for facilities construction.
• Professional registration or licensure in engineering is preferred or alternative equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project management features of military construction projects.
• Develop and implement regional policy on project management issues.
• Facilitate information sharing, coordination and data distribution within the Capital Improvements Business Line.
• Serve as liaison between project team and Supported Commander.
• Provide construction support including site visits to observe progress and assist in problem resolution.
• Provide technical expertise to the project team including managers and specialists.
