Job summary

Tallgrass MLP Operations, LLC is seeking a Project Manager for Major Projects, Sr. (Finance) to oversee engineering development, execution, and controls for large midstream initiatives in the Houston area.

The role requires leading project controls, coordinating with commercial and operations teams, and delivering on time and on budget with strong communication to executives and regulators. Travel up to 10–15% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction or Project Management, or equivalent from an accredited institution along with 12 years of relevant job experience.
• Proven experience managing major capital projects (TIC USD 200M+) in midstream or related sectors.
• Strong cost and schedule control, design and construction management capabilities.
• Experience leading project controls; cost tracking, forecasting and reporting to senior leadership.
• Advanced scheduling using Primavera; ability to communicate complex schedules clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage capital and sustaining projects to meet safety, reliability and compliance goals.
• Create and manage long- and short-term project plans with milestones and deadlines.
• Coordinate bids, cost estimates and execution plans with internal teams and external vendors.
• Lead project controls, including cost control and schedule management; report to upper management.
• Interface with customers, regulators and stakeholders to advance project objectives.
