Job summary

Tallgrass seeks a Project Development Engineer or Sr. Project Development Engineer to provide engineering development, oversight, and project management for new commercial projects and operational capital.

You will coordinate with Tallgrass groups to support business development, develop execution plans, and drive projects from concept to operations in the Texas region. You will lead multiple capital and maintenance projects, work closely with customers and regulators, manage budgets and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Project/Construction Management.
• 10+ years of relevant capital expansion project experience in midstream.
• Strong project scoping, estimating, scheduling, procurement and permitting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site representative for operational, commercial, expansion and development projects.
• Prepare work scopes, estimates, budgets and bid packages.
• Provide project management to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate with customers, regulators and Tallgrass staff; communicate project goals.
• Travel 10-15% across a broad geographic region.
