Job summary

Tallgrass MLP Operations, LLC seeks a senior pipeline engineer to design and scope facility expansions, support OCC and Field operations, and optimize hydraulic capacity across interstate systems.

Responsibilities include developing models, coordinating capacity transactions, and providing engineering support for regulatory filings. Travel and non-traditional hours may be required. Strong Excel/VBA and compliance knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline required.
• Experience with regulated energy environments and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office; advanced Excel and VBA skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide conceptual engineering design and scope development for expansion projects (route, sizing, preliminary cost estimating).
• Develop and maintain multiple transportation/hydraulic models (WinFlow/NextGen).
• Use real-time transient models to support OCC pipeline status planning.
• Coordinate capacity transactions with marketing/scheduling; update Connect software.
• Support regulatory filings and system operational improvements.
• Ensure projects are practical and implementable through all lifecycle stages.
