Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex engineering and design initiatives from concept through completion, ensuring delivery excellence, profitability, and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have 1525 years in engineering project management, with a proven track record delivering large, multidisciplinary projects (5+ years managing significant programs) and experience in EPC/EPCM or design-build environments. PE/RA license and PMP preferred.

Qualifications

• 1525 years of progressive experience in engineering and design project management.
• Experience managing large, multidisciplinary projects (5+ years) and EPC/EPCM/DB delivery.
• Proven track record delivering projects >$5M in fees.
• Strong leadership, financial management, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale projects.
• Define scope, objectives, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across offices.
• Manage client relationships and communicate progress.
• Oversee risk, safety, and compliance.
• Mentor project managers and staff.
• Support business development and proposals.

Education

Bachelors degree in Engineering

Masters degree preferred

Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) license

PMP certification preferred
