Job summary

Vertiv seeks an experienced project leader to plan, direct and coordinate large-scale projects in the Dallas area. You will oversee Field Engineers and Technicians, ensuring profitability, schedule, and adherence to budget.

The role requires coordination with clients, providers, and internal teams to drive successful outcomes. You will mentor junior staff, develop PM processes, and maintain strong communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• PMP Certification Preferred
• Strong knowledge of the National Electric Code and OSHA/NFPA standards
• Proficient with MS Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Latista, Google Docs and other PM software
• Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, if required
• Requires work in service center or field environment with extensive computer/phone use
• Excellent verbal and written communication, mature judgment
• Strong supervisory and organizational skills
• Willing to travel out of town up to 50%

Responsibilities

• Reviews project plans to determine time frame, funding, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Collaborates with Service Center Manager or Region Director to outline work plans.
• Plans staffing for each phase and assigns project personnel.
• Directs project personnel to ensure on-time progress within budget.
• Reviews status reports and adjusts schedules as needed.
• Prepares and presents project reports to management and clients.
• Gathers backup material for change orders.
• Advises project personnel on technical issues and resolves problems.
• Coordinates with clients and contractors; supervises Field Engineers and Technicians.
• Develops large-scale PM processes and mentors junior staff.
