Job summary

Vertiv Corporation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate large-scale projects in the Atlanta area. You will manage Field Engineers and Technicians, align resources, and ensure profitability and on-time delivery.

The role requires PMP knowledge, strong communication, and hands-on field experience with project controls, budgeting, and reporting. Travel up to 50% may be required, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• PMP Certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electric Code and OSHA/NFPA standards.
• Proficient with MS Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Latista, Google Docs and other PM software.
• Willing to work flexible hours, weekends if required.
• Requires work in service center or field environment and extensive computer/telephone use.
• Excellent verbal and writing skills for communicating with clients and teams.
• Mature judgment and responsibility for assigned projects; supervises others.

Responsibilities

• Review project proposals to determine time frame, funding, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Outline work plan with managers, assign duties, and determine scope.
• Establish staffing for each project phase and assign personnel.
• Direct and coordinate project activities to keep progress on schedule and within budget.
• Review status reports and modify plans as required.
• Prepare and present project reports to management and clients.
• Develop back-up material for change orders and resolve issues with teams.
