Job summary

Cumming Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to spearhead a major campus transformation, including office-to-lab conversions, exterior renovations, and tenant improvements in South San Francisco, CA. You will independently manage projects, support design coordination, and oversee pay applications, change orders, and RFI coordination.

With 5+ years of GC/construction knowledge and preference for lab-fit-out experience, you will drive cost management, scheduling, and documentation,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project management or construction management.
• Experience with lab fit-outs or other technical projects preferred.
• Knowledge of GC/construction processes.
• Ability to independently manage projects and support design coordination.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of project schedule, scope, and cost.
• Value engineer the project by identifying opportunities for savings and ensuring material substitutions are equal.
• Coordinate with cost management for preparation of cost estimates, cost studies, actual job cost reviews, and budget reconciliation.
• Organize and maintain framework for project team processes and record keeping of documents.
• Drive the permitting process and ensure permits move through the process efficiently.
