Job Title: Senior Project Manager - IT Infrastructure

Location: Remote (Canada)

Job Summary:

We are hiring a Senior Project Manager with 11-15 years of experience to lead and oversee complex, multi-vendor, global IT infrastructure initiatives. This role requires a proven track record in strategic project leadership, governance, stakeholder alignment, and infrastructure solution delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience navigating high-pressure environments, coordinating cross-functional teams, and managing project portfolios with compliance and performance focus. PMP certification is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead global IT infrastructure projects involving multiple geographies, vendors, and technology layers (cloud, data center, networking).
  • Act as the primary point of contact for sponsors, providing executive updates and facilitating approvals.
  • Develop and implement strategic project plans, timelines, budgets, and mitigation strategies.
  • Direct multi-person PM teams and coordinate with internal/external teams to align project goals.
  • Handle compliance, security, and performance requirements in infrastructure delivery.
  • Build project frameworks that support cross-functional team alignment, decision-making, and accountability.
  • Manage complex interdependencies and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement through "lessons learned" and best practice documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification (required or highly preferred).
