Job summary

Chenega Services & Federal Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services’ company, seeks a Project Manager III to support the Injury Biomechanics and Protection Group (IBPG) of the USAARL, providing scientific, programmatic, and technical support for timely mission accomplishment in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities include developing schedules, research plans, protocol documentation, data reviews, and presentations; coordinating with government staff and external collaborators; and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5 years of Project/Program Management experience.
• Experience managing project/programs with all aspects of project aims, performance, budget, and schedule.
• May work variable work hours to meet performance requirements (e.g., proposal and reporting deadlines, collaborations, and lab and field data collections), including occasional night and weekend hours.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a state-issued driver’s license for independent travel to restricted meetings and field-data collection locations.
• Must be familiar with the standard concepts, practices, and procedures within Injury Biomechanics, medical research, and data management as well as demonstrating proven experience in management of related project(s).
• Prior experience in biomechanics or laboratory-based research environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning and coordination for multiple RDT&E efforts within USAARL biomechanics programs.
• Prepare status reports for upper management on budget, schedule and performance.
• Coordinate schedules, data reviews, and publications per policy and procedures.
• Oversee all aspects of projects assigned to research teams and ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, academia, industry, and customers to support programmatic and scientific objectives.
• Travel CONUS or OCONUS for data collection, meetings, and training as required.
