Job summary

Chenega Services & Federal Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services' company, is seeking a Biomechanical Engineer 1 to support the Injury Biomechanics and Protection Group (IBP) of the USAARL to deliver scientific, programmatic, and technical support enabling timely mission accomplishment in a dynamic environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering, experience in MATLAB, data acquisition, and biomechanical testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited program.
• Demonstrated knowledge of engineering concepts, practices, standards, and procedures related to mechanical design, biomedical experimentation, data acquisition, and analysis.
• Experience in programming, experimental testing, instrumentation, kinematic analysis, video motion capture, and MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Support design, preparation, execution, and analysis of studies and experimentation.
• Assist with design, development, and accomplishment of project goals, particularly during field and laboratory experimentation.
• Provide scientific analytical, engineering problem solving, design efforts, and data collection and analysis for biomechanical testing.
