Job summary

Chenega Services & Federal Solutions, LLC seeks a Research Engineer 3 to support the Injury Biomechanics and Protection Group within USAARL. You will design and execute studies, analyze data, and maintain instrumentation for cutting-edge biomechanical research addressing Soldier injury prevention.

The role requires strong programming, data acquisition, and imaging tool experience, with opportunities for leadership and independent problem solving in a dynamic, field-driven environment.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering program required and relevant coursework.
• Experience with programming, data acquisition, instrumentation, and MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Provide research engineering support for design, preparation, execution, and analysis of studies and experiments; install and maintain instrumentation.
• Perform laboratory procedures, field studies, testing, and research in biomechanics and related fields with minimal supervision.
• Design, develop, and accomplish project goals using interdisciplinary scientific and engineering principles.
• Develop SOPs and document testing procedures, data collection, and analysis methods.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and manuscripts with findings for internal and external dissemination.
• Advise investigators and teams in RDT&E, analysis, and investigations.
