Mass. Electric Construction Co. (MEC) is seeking a Senior Project Manager based in Irvine, CA. You will lead complex projects across water, wastewater and power generation markets, coordinating engineering, procurement and construction while guiding client relations and project teams.

This role offers hands-on training, exposure to high-profile projects, and a fast career growth trajectory as you advance across North America. Travel and relocation may be required to support assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering in any discipline from a four-year college or university.
• 10+ years of related experience and/or training in the infrastructure or industrial industry.
• Competent in the use of project control software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning and delivery of complex industrial projects including engineering, procurement, construction and client relations.
• Drive project performance through scheduling, cost control and technical excellence.
• Ensure team capabilities align with project demands and foster continuous improvement.
• Direct multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate meetings, reviews and communications.
• Oversee project controls, budgets, and adherence to contractual requirements.
• Represent the project with clients, general contractors, subcontractors and vendors at key milestones.
• Coordinate training and compliance to ensure procedures are followed.
• Identify changes in scope, budget, and schedule and secure approvals.
• Maintain client communications and adjust deliverables to meet Mass Electric needs.
• Ensure safety, quality, environmental and compliance standards are followed.
