Mass. Electric Construction Co. (MEC) is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead water, wastewater, and power generation projects from our Irvine, CA base, with travel across North America.

You will direct complex industrial programs, coordinating engineering, procurement, and construction teams to achieve scope, schedule, and budget goals. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from a four-year college or university.
• 10+ years of related experience in infrastructure or industrial projects.
• Competent in project control software including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning and delivery of complex industrial projects including engineering, procurement, construction, contract administration, equipment, and client relations.
• Drive project performance through effective methods, scheduling, cost control, and technical excellence.
• Ensure team capabilities align with project demands while fostering continuous improvement and development.
• Direct multidisciplinary project teams with clear communication, coordination, and accountability to meet scope, schedule, and budget.
• Establish project procedures aligned with contractual documents and quality plans; oversee controls, schedules, and budgets.
• Represent the project with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors at meetings and reviews.
• Coordinate training and compliance measures to ensure project procedures are followed.
• Identify and secure approvals for changes in scope, budget, or schedule.
• Maintain ongoing client communication and adjust deliverables to meet Mass Electric needs within obligations.
• Ensure safety, quality, environmental, and compliance standards are followed while delivering on time.
