Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Team Leader to join our Industrial Center of Excellence (ICoE) national practice. You will lead complex industrial facilities projects from planning through execution, manage client relationships, project teams, schedules, and budgets, and collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing industrial or manufacturing facilities-related projects.
• Experience leading project management and multidisciplinary design teams with direct/indirect reporting.
• Strong understanding of industrial facilities, manufacturing environments, and building systems.
• PMP certification or PE license preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex industrial facilities projects, including advanced manufacturing, distribution, and process-driven facilities, through planning, design, construction administration and closeout.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring project objectives, scope, schedule, and budget are achieved.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including architectural, engineering, and specialty consultants.
• Develop and manage project execution plans, schedules, staffing plans, and budgets.
• Identify, monitor, and implement risk mitigation strategies to support successful delivery
• Manage project financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, invoicing support, and resource utilization.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships that contribute to repeat business opportunities and long-term client satisfaction.
• Mentor junior project managers and support their professional development.
• Support key pursuits and client development activities by contributing technical, project delivery, and client relationship expertise. Participate in proposal development, interviews and client presentations, and pursuit planning efforts.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and support of project staffing and resource planning efforts.
• Collaborate closely with regional and national Industrial Center of Excellence leadership to share best practices and support continuous improvement initiatives.
