Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Team Leader for the Industrial Center of Excellence (ICoE) to manage complex industrial facilities projects. You will coordinate with architectural, engineering, and specialty consultants, lead project execution, and maintain client relationships across national practice in Colorado.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, strong leadership, and familiarity with alternative delivery methods; PMP/PE is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience managing industrial or manufacturing facilities projects.
  • PMP certification or PE license preferred (not mandatory).

Senior Project Manager/Team Leader – Industrial Center of Excellence (ICoE)

WSP is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager/Team Leader to support our Industrial Center of Excellence (ICoE) national practice in Colorado. The role involves managing industrial and advanced manufacturing projects, cooperating with multidisciplinary teams, and interacting with client leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage complex industrial facilities projects, including advanced manufacturing, distribution, and process‑driven facilities, through planning, design, construction administration, and closeout.
  • Serve as primary client point of contact, ensuring project objectives, scope, schedule, and budget are met.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including architectural, engineering, and specialty consultants.
  • Develop and manage project execution plans, schedules, staffing plans, and budgets.
  • Identify, monitor, and implement risk mitigation strategies to support delivery.
  • Manage project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, invoicing support, and resource utilization.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to foster repeat business and client satisfaction.
  • Mentor junior project managers and support their development.
  • Participate in proposal development, interviews, client presentations, and pursuit planning activities.
  • Collaborate with regional and national ICoE leadership to share best practices and improve processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience managing industrial or manufacturing facilities projects.
  • Proven leadership of multidisciplinary design teams, with reporting responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of industrial facilities, manufacturing environments, and building systems.
  • Experience with alternate construction delivery models on greenfield and brownfield projects.
  • Excellent client management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Skilled at managing project financials, schedules, and contracts.
  • PMP certification or PE license preferred (not mandatory).
Preferred Experience
  • Advanced manufacturing or industrial facilities project experience.
  • Experience on large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with design‑build or alternative delivery methods.

Compensation

Expected Salary: $134,700 - $200,100. WSP USA reserves the right to adjust compensation based on various factors.
