Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Manager 2 to lead moderately complex construction projects, ensuring safe operations, effective scheduling, and proactive cost control. You will coordinate with the preconstruction team, manage submittals, and drive risk assessment across stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in construction management or related field and 7+ years of experience, with the ability to relocate as needed and travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 7+ years construction management experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of safety culture and mentoring to ensure an injury-free environment.
• Manages prestart checklist and bids package development; coordinates with preconstruction team.
• Develops and implements buyout schedule, pricing, and subcontractor selection.
• Manages submittal schedules; reviews shop drawings and samples before submission.
• Ensures submittals are returned to subcontractors per project schedule.
• Coordinates with logistics for pricing on materials and equipment.
• Provides risk analysis for subcontractors and manages project risks.
• Leads meetings (monthly reviews, OAC) and prepares cost/margin forecasts.
