Job summary

Duke Energy is hiring a Project Manager hybrid position based in the Charlotte area. You will lead project teams across multiple internal and external groups, coordinating planning, execution, and reporting to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, collaboration, and knowledge of project management practices to meet safety and quality standards while engaging stakeholders and governing bodies.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree AND 5 years minimum related experience.
• In Lieu of Degree, High School / GED AND 9 years minimum related experience.

Responsibilities

• Create / Staff / Lead Project Team.
• Lead coordination with Development, Engineering, PMCoE, and other units to deliver projects.
• Establish and maintain communications among project stakeholders.
• Structure, lead, or assist in project meetings for open communication.
• Prepare, communicate, or report monthly project status and required communications.
• Ensure PMCoE standards and procedures are followed in reporting.
• Communicate with management/governance teams.
• Plan scope, schedule, cost, safety, and quality aspects of projects.
• Execute projects within approved scope, cost, and schedule with WBS and plans.
