Job summary

Hitachi Energy seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end execution of HV Dead Tank, Live Tank, and PASS breaker projects in the United States. You will coordinate engineering, supply chain, finance, and field teams, review contracts, and manage risks to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and high quality.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project execution, preferably within industrial or energy environments.
• Strong ability to lead, influence, and align diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Self-directed approach with strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP and Power BI experience is an advantage.
• PMP certification and knowledge of IEC and IEEE standards are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project execution for assigned breaker projects.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders across engineering, supply chain, finance, and execution.
• Review contracts, terms, and conditions to support project success.
• Prepare and maintain risk and opportunity management plans.
• Track material shipments, site receipts, and key milestones.
• Manage change requests and secure required approvals.
• Oversee project handover, documentation, and commercial closure.
• Act as the primary customer contact and lead regular progress reviews.
