BHDP Architecture is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple architecture projects in Columbus/Cincinnati. You will drive scope, schedule, budget, and risk management, providing clear direction and accountability across project teams.

The role requires advancing profitability, client alignment, and resource planning. Expect collaboration with design and operations leaders, a strong focus on PM excellence, and the ability to mentor staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design, or related program.
• 12+ years in the design/architecture industry.
• Architectural License or NCIDQ Certification preferred.
• Advanced Revit knowledge.
• Advanced visualization tools: SketchUp, Enscape, Lumion.
• Advanced PM systems knowledge (VantagePoint preferred).
• Ability to delegate, coach and raise team performance.
• Demonstrated initiative and problem solving.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Owns all aspects of multiple projects and teams.
• Leads project team with clear direction and ownership of tasks.
• Manages projects to deliver consistent scope, fee and timetable.
• Prepare proposals that reflect value and align scope, fee, and timeframe.
• Manage client expectations regarding scope and budget changes.
• Ensure team aligns with project goals and resources.
• Update plans for proactive resource planning.
• Coordinate staffing with internal leaders to match skills.
• Educate team on deliverables and budget/schedule milestones.
• Provide regular updates on time allocations and health of projects.
• Mentor team members to support professional development.
