BHDP Architecture is seeking a Senior Architect in Cincinnati to lead technical delivery, coordinate teams, and ensure design intent translates into buildable solutions. The role demands mentoring, risk management, and strong documentation to support client goals.

The Senior Architect will drive QA/QC, guide project teams, and maintain BHDP standards across Revit, Bluebeam, and visualization tools while collaborating closely with clients and the Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture degree; NAAB preferred.
• 12+ years in design/architecture.
• Licensed Architect.
• Advanced Revit knowledge; deliver defined drawing packages and teach best practices.
• Advanced visualization capabilities: SketchUp, Enscape, Lumion.
• Demonstrated delegation, coaching, and team performance improvement.
• Strong attention to detail and communication.
• Professional workplace behaviors with calm, solutions-oriented communication.

Responsibilities

• Provides project-specific technical leadership and assigns ownership.
• Acts as primary project technical expert and risk steward.
• Leads QA/QC at milestones and resolves critical comments before issuance.
• Manages owners/due dates and communicates risks to PM and client.
• Delivers high-quality technical solutions and standardizes approaches.
• Prevents redesigns and delays through disciplined decision-making and early issue resolution.
• Coaches Architects and Designers with real-time feedback and development plans.
• Creates reusable learning assets to improve team quality and independence.
• Ensures compliance with BHDP delivery platforms and digital standards to drive coordination and QA/QC closure.
• Prevents workflow breakages and client-facing surprises.
