Job summary

BHDP Architecture seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple design projects, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and overall health. You’ll direct teams, manage client expectations, and drive predictable outcomes by planning resources and controlling risk throughout the lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years in design/architecture, advanced Revit and visualization skills, and a strong PM systems background. This is a hybrid, full-time role in Columbus, OH with in-office Fridays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (NAAB accredited) or Interior Design (CIDA accredited) or related design/construction program.
• 12+ years in the design/architecture industry.
• Architectural License or NCIDQ Certification preferred.
• Advanced Revit knowledge.
• Advanced knowledge of production-ready visualization: SketchUp, Enscape, Lumion.
• Advanced knowledge of Project Management systems (VantagePoint preferred).
• Demonstrated delegation, coaching, and team performance improvement.
• Strong communication and collaboration within a team.
• Professional workplace behaviors: reliable follow-through, constructive feedback, and calm, solutions-oriented communication.

Responsibilities

• Owns all aspects of multiple projects and project teams.
• Leads the project team with clear direction and task ownership.
• Manages projects and teams to ensure consistent direction and deliverables.
• Serves as gatekeeper for project profitability; creates proposals tying scope, fee, and timeframe.
• Manages client expectations related to scope, fees, and timeframes.
• Ensures project team members maximize project support aligned to skills.
• Update project plans in PM systems for proactive resource planning.
• Partner with leaders to identify and resolve staffing needs.
• Educates team on deliverables including budget and schedule; provides updates.
