Job summary

Kokosing, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for Heavy Highway - Roadway/Bridge projects in the Richmond region of Virginia.

You will plan, direct and coordinate complex highway/bridge construction efforts, lead Project Engineers, Superintendents and Foremen, and ensure milestones are met within budget and schedule constraints. The role requires a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree with 10+ years of related experience, and the ability to coordinate with government agencies and

Qualifications

• Requires Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree with 10+ years of related experience.
• Experience managing heavy highway/bridge construction projects.
• Ability to coordinate with project engineers, superintendents, foremen, governmental agencies and subcontractors, and to execute CPM-based schedules.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of heavy highway/bridge construction projects.
• Ensures project goals are met within prescribed timeframes and funding parameters.
• Manages Project Engineers, Superintendents and Foremen and provides guidance as needed.
• Reviews proposals and plans to determine timeframes, funding, staffing and resources for project phases.
• Establishes work plans and staffing for each phase and assigns responsibilities.
• Directs and coordinates activities to ensure work progresses on schedule and within budget.
• Prepares project reports for management and clients and resolves technical problems.
