Job summary

Kokosing, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for Heavy Highway - Roadway/Bridge projects in the Tidewater region of Virginia. You will plan, direct, and coordinate activities across multi-disciplinary teams to ensure on-time delivery within budget.

The role requires a Civil Engineering or Construction Management background with 10+ years of related experience and a proven ability to lead Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Foremen through complex construction programs.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree with 10+ years of related experience.
• Experience managing heavy highway/bridge construction projects.
• Ability to lead Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Foremen.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of heavy highway/bridge construction projects.
• Ensures goals are met within time frame and funding parameters.
• Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure work progresses on schedule and within budget.
• Prepares project reports for management or clients.
• Coordinates project activities with governmental agencies and subcontractors.
• Understands and executes CPM-based project schedules.
