Job summary

Milestone Contractors LP is seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of complex heavy civil and highway construction projects in Indianapolis, Indiana. You will own the full project lifecycle from preconstruction to closeout, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include establishing execution frameworks, managing change and risk, coordinating with subcontractors and owners, and maintaining safety standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred
• 10+ years of progressive experience in heavy highway project management
• Experience managing large, complex projects with significant budgets
• Licenses and Certifications: Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Provides end-to-end leadership for complex heavy civil and highway projects, ensuring delivery aligns with scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards
• Establishes and governs project execution frameworks, schedules, and controls for compliant outcomes
• Maintains knowledge of plans, subcontracts, and submittals to support decision-making and contractual compliance
• Owns project financial performance and risk management, including budgets, forecasts, and change management
• Leads change management by evaluating owner-initiated changes and preparing cost estimates and change orders
• Coordinates and documents utility relocation efforts and regulatory compliance
• Directs cross-functional coordination among subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
• Advises on contract and subcontract requirements to minimize risk
• Organizes and represents Milestone Contractors LP at project meetings and during closeout
• Champions safety policies and practices across project activities
