Job summary

Kimmel & Associates, Inc. is seeking Project Managers at the APM, PM, and Senior PM levels to lead large-scale heavy civil and environmental projects across the Southeast from Athens, GA area.

Two positions are available, with project scopes from $20M to $250M and CCR/coal ash projects commonly included. The PM will own delivery from mobilization through closeout, coordinating with field leadership, clients, and the VP of Operations on strategy and execution on-site at long-term power plant

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager or senior PM in heavy civil construction.
• Experience with earthwork, environmental construction, underground utilities, paving, or related work.
• CCR/coal ash or landfill experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, cost control, and change management.
• Primavera P6 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage project schedules, budgets, cost control, billing, change orders, and overall financial performance.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Lead project teams including Superintendents, Foremen, equipment operators, and other field personnel.
• Oversee large-scale earthmoving and environmental construction operations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for owners and clients.
• Coordinate mobilization, subcontractors, equipment, materials, and project closeout.
• Maintain a significant on-site presence on long-term projects.
