Primoris Heavy Civil in the United States is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale heavy civil construction projects, including highways and bridges, across the Houston, TX area. You will oversee preconstruction through completion, driving safety, quality, schedule, and profitability while coordinating with DOT and municipal clients.

Ideal candidates bring a minimum of ten years of experience, strong leadership, and expertise in DOT specifications and cost control.

Competenze

• Ten years of progressive experience in large-scale heavy civil or highway projects.
• Experience with DOT or federally funded infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of DOT specs, contracts, and construction methods.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Mansioni

• Provide overall leadership and accountability for large, complex heavy civil construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Manage multiple projects or programs, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and contractual requirements.
• Lead project financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, forecasting, revenue recognition, and final project profitability.
• Oversee contract administration, including change management, claims support, risk mitigation, and dispute resolution.
• Serve as the primary point of contact with owners, DOT representatives, engineers, inspectors, and key stakeholders.
• Review and interpret plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure full compliance and proactive issue resolution.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to Project Managers, Project Engineers, and field leadership.
• Direct subcontractor procurement, negotiations, contract execution, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with all company safety programs, environmental regulations, and client-specific requirements.
• Lead executive-level project meetings, progress reviews, and client briefings.
• Support preconstruction activities including estimating reviews, constructability analysis, scheduling, and risk assessment.
