Primoris Heavy Civil seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale heavy civil and highway projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will direct safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance while guiding field teams and project engineers.

The role emphasizes DOT and municipal client engagement, contract administration, and proactive risk management, with leadership of a multidisciplinary program team based in Houston, TX.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years leading large-scale heavy civil or highway projects.
• Experience with DOT or federally funded infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of DOT specs, contracts, and methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for complex projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Manage multiple projects with adherence to scope, schedule and budget.
• Oversee project financials: budgeting, forecasting, profitability.
• Lead contract administration, change management, and risk mitigation.
• Serve as primary liaison with owners, DOT reps, engineers and inspectors.
• Mentor project teams and oversee subcontractor procurement and performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety programs and client requirements.
• Lead executive project meetings and progress reviews.
