Job summary

Ames Construction, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead heavy civil and industrial projects in the Bagdad, AZ area. You will guide project teams, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure safety and quality compliance across multiple firms and subcontractors.

Responsibilities include coordinating with owners and engineers, reviewing change orders, and driving progress reports to clients. A strong focus on teamwork, problem solving, and timely delivery is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management on large mechanical construction projects.
• 5 years of experience on heavy industrial projects preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Blue Beam, Outlook, and related software; knowledge of Procore, AutoCAD, ECMS and P6.
• Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct project teams to meet estimates, schedules, and budgets.
• Ensure adherence to project safety, quality, and environmental plans.
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Review and negotiate change orders and assess cost and schedule impacts.
• Oversee procurement, reporting, and project close-out activities.
