Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, quantitative social science, or management with 10 years of project management experience.
• PMP certification or equivalent can substitute for experience requirements.
• Experience leading large teams on complex goals and delivering results.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills with strong supervision and mentoring ability.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and proficiency with MS Office.
• Background in health services or public health research is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain project work plans and task-based resource estimates.
• Monitor milestone accomplishments and budget/resource use; re-estimate as needed.
• Prepare generalized project cost estimates and assist with finalizing estimates on contract awards.
• Manage expenditures aligned with budgets and fiscal year plans.
• Negotiate resources with managers and project directors to meet objectives and timelines.
• Provide progress and budget reports to customers and funders as required.
