Job summary

Donohoe Construction Company is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to join our New Construction team. The role focuses on leading ground-up, large-scale hi-rise projects with emphasis on budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.

The position requires 5+ years of relevant experience, proficiency with CPM scheduling, cost control, and strong communication. The team operates on-site at construction sites with a collaborative culture and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management (or related) or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years' experience working on ground up, large-scale hi-rise residential projects.
• Experience on office, government, hi-tech, hospitality, healthcare, retail, or multi-family projects a plus.
• Experience leading projects ranging from $50mm to $80mm+.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Strengths should include strong coordination and shop drawing review skills, subcontractor management, budgeting and cost control and scheduling experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Prolog, Primavera P6, Textura, Blue Beam, and AS-400 (JD Edwards).

Responsibilities

• Establish project objectives, policies, and performance standards within corporate policies.
• Manage a project from estimating to turnover to close-out with multi-tasking.
• Maintain project financials, forecasting and profitability while protecting the client relationship.
• Develop and maintain CPM Schedule for on-time completion.
• Inform senior management of project progress and critical issues.
• Scope, negotiate, and write subcontract agreements.
• Manage owner invoicing, subcontractor/vendor payments and risk mitigation.
• Understand corporate and industry practices and their impact on project activities.
• Oversee day-to-day requirements like procurement, submittals, RFIs, PCOs, and tracking.
• Ensure timely completion and close-out of projects.
