Job summary

Centessa Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support one or more high complexity global R&D programs. This role reports to a Director, Project Management and requires extensive PM experience in pharma/biotech environments.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage interdependencies, maintain program governance, and support regulatory submissions while driving best practices across fast-paced programs. US-based with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• BS plus 5+ years experience in pharmaceutical/biotech R&D environment, including 3+ years as PM or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Partner with GTL and Dir, PM to support cross-functional matrix team and manage sub-teams
• Maintain and update a cross-functional program Gantt chart and executive summaries
• Identify interdependencies, critical path, and at-risk activities for scenario planning and risk management
• Maintain dashboards to communicate status and track progress
• Lead cross-functional team meetings with prepared agendas, materials and minutes
• Maintain issue logs and risks registers; mitigate issues and manage actions
• Collaborate with Finance to develop budgets and manage program spend within approved budget
• Manage select external vendors and integrate deliverables into the program plan
• Support development of Governance and Executive presentations
• Contribute to documents for Regulatory/Health Authority submissions
• Contribute to establishment and refinement of best practices and processes
