Job summary

Centessa Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Associate Project Manager to provide portfolio-level support for early to late-stage development programs. This fully remote role focuses on maintaining timelines and budgets within a corporate-wide PPM system and providing PM support to Centessa’s R&D portfolio.

The role reports to the Director, Program Management and requires 1–3 years in pharma/biotech project support, with strong Smartsheet skills and familiarity with Planisware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, business, or healthcare discipline.
• 1–3 years of project management support within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry supporting cross-functional projects
• Proven expertise in Smartsheet and hands-on experience with a Project Portfolio Management (PPM) system such as Planisware
• Highly detail-oriented and motivated with strong software skills in a fast-paced environment
• CAPM certification is strongly preferred
• Basic understanding of the end-to-end drug development lifecycle (Preclinical through Phase 3 and Regulatory submission)
• 100% remote with the ability to work productively across multiple time zones and minimal travel (<10%)

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update complex drug development timelines and budgets in the PPM system.
• Monitor program timelines to ensure accurate portfolio reporting.
• Assist senior PMs with meeting logistics, minutes, and PM-related activities.
• Track action items and follow up to keep deliverables on schedule.
• Generate project status reports, dashboards, and RAID logs for teams and leadership.
