Job summary

SPX Cooling Technologies is seeking a Senior Project Manager to own assigned projects and protect gross margin by closely monitoring costs and variances. You will ensure timely completion, high quality, and customer satisfaction while coordinating across engineering, construction, and supply chain teams.

You will lead cross-functional teams, communicate with customers and partners, manage contracts and schedules, and drive OpEx improvements. Occasional travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, business or engineering.
• Min. 2–3 years of project or construction management experience.
• Experience in the power plant or similar industry.
• PMI certification preferred.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Project.

Responsibilities

• Set up and lead the SPX cross-functional Project Team. Identify the project targets and address tasks to the Project Team members, monitor the activities.
• First line of communication with customers and consortium partners.
• Regular communication with major sub suppliers, field construction, and SPX internal departments to address issues and set up meetings.
• Contract management with interaction between all parties involved.
• Financial responsibility to maintain target margin of project, forecast revenues with full visibility and costs.
• Project time schedule management between engineering, construction, and supply chain resources.
• Responsible for maintaining accuracy of Project Status Report and provide regular updates to management.
• Document control and responsibility for the DCL Document Control List.
• Change order and claims management.
• Project risk management.
• Insurance management.
• Travel to customer or internal meetings (up to 25%).
