Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a Construction Project Engineer within SPX Cooling to coordinate project creation, scheduling, and budgeting for industrial HVAC construction projects. You will support project managers with execution plans, on-site progress, and stakeholder updates.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in construction management, familiarity with HVAC or industrial plants, and proficiency in MS Office and scheduling tools like Primavera or MS Project. Some travel required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of construction management experience, or related role.
• Experience with HVAC, industrial processes, or power plants is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Project Coordination and Execution: Create projects and enter orders in SAP while assisting Project Managers in developing execution plans and generating presentations.
• Schedule projects using Primavera P6 or MS Project and ensure activities align with drawings and specifications.
• Generate, review, and distribute submittals with regular progress updates and client-specific reports.
