Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate multiple small to medium projects within the Smart Buildings segment. The role includes managing budgets ($250K–$7M), billing, and client satisfaction in alignment with Siemens standards. You will lead teams, plan schedules, and coordinate subcontractors to ensure timely, compliant project delivery.

Qualified candidates will have an associate degree, 3+ years of project management experience, and knowledge of NFPA codes. OSHA 10, a valid U.S.

The **Project Manager** position requires the coordination and delivery of multiple, simultaneous projects considered small to medium in complexity with financial impact between $250K and $7M. The Project Manager has fiscal responsibility for all project facets, including project billing, job cost reporting, and overall customer satisfaction.

**As a Senior Project Manager, you will:**

  • + Facilitate the execution of project/program solution plan for clearly defined sub-projects or sub-programs.
  • + Be responsible for delivery of results for the respective process steps.
  • + Guide technical or administrative staff.
  • + Act as a functional process resource on projects or programs.
  • + Contribute to continuous improvement plan.
  • + Perform active role in maintaining functionally focused client relationships.
  • + Be responsible for several projects of varying size.
  • + Obtain PM@Siemens certification for C Projects ($2.5M).
  • + Review project specifications, drawings and project-specific documents to establish project intent.
  • + Develop and maintain a project schedule and coordinates needs with the project team. Identify time-sensitive installation needs.
  • + Manage the requisition of supplies and materials to complete projects.
  • + Review plans and specifications and participate in project cost reviews.
  • + Assist Operations Manager in the solicitation and contracting of subcontractors.
  • + Conduct an orientation for project technicians and provide project documentation, including scope of work, drawings, applicable specifications, application-engineered drawings, project contacts, etc.
  • + Track resources and project progress.
  • + Document project events that impact the schedule, scope of work, and project efficiency.
  • + Pursue project-specific change-order opportunities.
  • + Coordinate and pursue project-specific billing; coordinate with Accounting team and Operations Manager.
  • + Schedule project-specific commissioning resources and provide commissioning documentation.
  • + Expedite the return of project-specific mark-ups for as-built development.
  • + Complete project-specific close-out documentation.
  • + Effectively manage and coordinate subcontractors to meet scope, scheduling, and financial requirements.
  • + Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures; report unsafe conditions and actions.

**You will make an impact with these qualifications:**

_Basic Qualifications:_

  • + Associate degree
  • + Must be able to demonstrate ability to work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our customers
  • + Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
  • + Verbal and written communication skills in English
  • + Technical experience in the commercial fire and life safety industry
  • + 3+ years of experience managing projects
  • + Knowledgeable of local and national (NFPA) fire alarm codes and regulations
  • + OSHA 10 certification at minimum required.
  • + Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens’ fleet vehicle program
  • + Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

_Preferred Qualifications:_

  • + Bachelor of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree
  • + 5 + years of technical experience in the fire and life safety industry
  • + NICET Level I or higher certification in Fire Alarm Systems

The pay range for this position is $83,966 – $143,942 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
